Bullshit. There are plenty of Hurricanes I dislike. Typically, I dislike the ones who didn't do shit in college then somehow became great in the NFL. Paycheck players. Calais Campbell comes to mind. You could also say that about Graham too, except that he didn't really know how to play football at Miami because he defected from the basketball team late in his eligibility. I hate Warren Sapp because he's such a fucking dickhead; and unlike most meat heads, he's not a stupid person, which makes his act and routine even harder to forgive. "Graham sucked here" is stupid. The team might have given up too much to get him, the mix of egos on the team might have been such that he wasn't a good fit, etc. etc., but that's a different issue. He was productive here despite suffering his worst career injury in the process. He did something right despite the head scratching fact that the Seahawk offense didn't target him all that much for the first part of his tenure here. Think about that for a minute: he wasn't being used the way you expect to use a generational pass catching TE, and he ruptured his patellar tendon, and all in all only played here for three short seasons. And, despite all that, he still produced like a mother fucker. As for personality, Bennett was an idiot who liked to say a outlandish shit for attention (much like Warren Sapp), and he said those things when Graham played for NO. My recollection of the facts are that the organization liked him quite a bit, and he had good relationships on the team. Trying to paint him out like some Golden Tate figure is straight up bullshit. Most importantly, he had a good relationship with Wilson (QB), and he and Luke Wilson, who was beloved around here during his first go round, were reportedly very good friends.
I also wouldn't count him out at GB either. -

I am not trying to argue about Dissly vs. Graham, to say Dissly is 5/6 years in the league and out is absurd unless you want to argue that he is going to have some serious career ending injury. He has been a stud so far and is in a great system for his talent. He will be in the league for a long time as long as he stays healthy. I know Washington had a long dry run of sending impact players to the NFL and therefore understand the enthusiasm. My comments about Dissly are in response to comments about Graham "sucking", which is patently stupid.
I assume you read the whole thread and don't just focus on my posts.
Context. It matters.
Want my opinion on Graham? He was really good in NO and so-so in SEA. I do think he was soft in SEA though and wasn't a great fit. He did catch a lot of TDs and had a pretty good year here, but at the same time that good year he had the Seahawks overall regressed because Bevell tried to force the ball down his throat the entire time. His final 10 TD year Hawks didn't make the playoffs, first time in a long while. He was SHIT at blocking, this isn't even a debate. In Seattle's system the TE has to be able to block well, which is part of the problem was he just wasn't a great fit. He was really good in NO because they made him a receiver pretty much and utilized his skills well.
