"Giuliani brought with him an affidavit from Shokin which claimed that he was pressured into resigning because he was unwilling to drop a case against energy company Burisma Holdings, where Biden's son Hunter was a board member. The affidavit states that it was pressure from the U.S. -- specifically Biden -- in the form of withholding the billion dollars that led to Shokin leaving office."

But but Shokin wasn't even investigating Hunter Biden and all the other EU countries wanted him gone too.

Have direct and almost unlimited access to the Vice President of the United States would look pretty good on a resume. Just sayin'.

I sure he and Joe both knew that. And that's why they exploited it.
Cheney and Halliburton say hello. Nothing new here, waste of Internet bandwidth.

Comparing apples to dog shit says hello. Also have to point out that you're the very same Kunt who cries about old news and Hillary no longer being in office when anyone brings her up.

Cheney worked at Hallibuton after leaving office. I don't know of any relations of Cheney's that then worked at or profited from Haliburton after he returned to office. Got a link Kunt?

Or is the fact that you just mouthed the magic word "Halliburton" all you needed to do? Shocked you didn't toss in a "neo-Con."

Halliburton at that time was the only company that could handle the job at hand. HTH

The comparison is asinine. The DOD didn't hire Halliburton on Cheney's recommendation. Unlike Hunter Biden, Halliburton not only had the expertise and the experience in the field to do the job, as you point out they were the only contractor at the time who could do some of the jobs.

    Actually, sad but true.

The whole of them need to GTFO. Vote every fucking incumbent out. Christ, I’d even vote Dem as a quid pro quo for that objective

Then put in motherfucking term limits on these bastards. Biden should be in no position to make his sleezeball kid a multimillionaire. And list off any GOP politician who played the same game. It’s bullshit.

Bob, that’s kinda naive, don’t you think?

Halliburton is a beast corporation but there’s no question they got a little extra something something due to Cheney.

It's ridiculous trying to justify any politician, regardless of the letter next to their name, using their their influence to enrich themselves. The vast majority do it in plain site and since they make the rules, nothing can be done about it.
