sure he will play in the nfl, but he had an opportunity to come through for his team and did not make fucking play. hence the jag tittle. Dante against arizona made the fucking. not jagRoadDawg55 said:
I can’t forgive him for the drops, but he’s better than jag. He’s playing in the NFL.Houhusky said:

That’s fair. Marvin Hall wasn’t good in college. He did very little. Fuller has caught a lot of passes in college and will play on the NFL.whatshouldicareabout said:
Idk if playing in the NFL means you're a good player. For example, Marvin Hall has been in the NFL for 4 years but his career stats at UW are 25 catches, 409 yards and 1 TD. He averaged 6 catches and 102 yards per season. He also threw for more TDs than he caught.RoadDawg55 said:

he himself said "you throw to score but run to win" but the OL is good use those guys.PostGameOrangeSlices said:
You and I agree for a rare instance. UWs line will ultimately win against any team in the conference, even Cal.FirePete said:
Not that we could not lean on them, Bush Hamdan refused to do so. They were moving people fine, but you need to commit to running the ballDoogles said:

Problem is, Petersen is so fucking in love with the QB position and being a foxy outsmarting adversary that he refuses to bully teams. Given the choice between mauling and finesse, Petersen choices finesse every time.
Biggest difference between him and Don James imo -
The offense is improved, but still does dumb shit at times. Cut the drops against Cal and we score in the mid 20’s and it’s probably our worst or one of the worst performances on offense all year.PostGameOrangeSlices said:

Cal definitely has a top 3 defense in the PAC 12 and honestly might even be the best.
I’m more worried about our defense, especially against the run than the offense. A lot of that has to do with Skinny and his ability to make big plays, but still. -
The DL did seem to improve against BYU. Moving potato back to edge run contain helped alot.RoadDawg55 said:

Hopefully Latu and the young LBs continue to improve over the season and get more playing time.
Also moving Taylor down and inside helps the LBs a ton, I really hope they continue to do that.
I think we are going to end up playing a lot of cover 1 or cover 3 with the safety also rolled down into the box to help the LBs out.
If anyone can scheme around the obvious limitations UW has on defense its Kwat imo. -

1.) Leave Clay Helton home
Seriously, think about it. What does USC miss if Helton takes a game off? No one will burn timeouts in the fourth quarter or after a kickoff. ABC won’t be able to capture that blank look on the sideline. It’s actually good for Helton too because fans can’t blame him if USC loses.
Like I say, a mannequin does less damage. Just weld a cap on its head like Helton does every week and pack it on the charter to Seattle.
And while you’re at it, leave John Baxter in L.A. too.8.) Give a history lesson
USC usually goes to Husky Stadium in November when its raining and cold. It used to have to deal with that big crown on the field back in the day. But none of that will be issue Saturday. It’ll be a vacation. -

Our? defense has been good, just not what we?re used to.GrundleStiltzkin said:better than I would expect
Plus special teams hasn't been quite as drecky as last year.

Jury is still out on the defense. They did fine against the only legit team we played. The offense once again is the Achilles heel. -

Once upon a tim, pretty much any opposing QB making his first road start in Husky Stadium was near guaranteed Dawg food.GrundleStiltzkin said:
In the off-season prediction thread I called this a loss, but I have faith in Jimmy/Coach K/crowd noise and believe they can bring us back to those days.

RE: the referenced USC fight song...I’m pretty sure my personal version of hell is watching Wheaton’s “The Pick” and having “Tribute to Troy” play in a non-stop loop for all eternity.https://youtu.be/CRWggz084bE

Tribute to Troy is the best thing about USC

If I want to see hot girls I text them and they come over. Cheerleaders are like the 10th best thing about CFB, even if the song girls are the best of the lot -

Ahmed sometimes does a slide, shuffle that I like. I think the coaches might harp on him being patient more than they should. The hole was there late in the game on the 3rd and two to gain 2-4 yards, but Ahmed hesitated.

I think he’s improving with more reps. I still believe it’s the OC’s job to put him in a position to succeed, find ways to get him outside.RoadDawg55 said:Ahmed sometimes does a slide, shuffle that I like. Its almost like this bored is in an alternative universe. To be fair though he probably got that missed game in rushing from one play.GrundleStiltzkin said:
