I dont have as much of a problem with the call as others here, if Culp didnt block worse than @puppylove_sugarsteel than its a walk in TD and twist the knife moment. If they didnt actually mean to go for it than Pete and his special teams is just as retarded as it always is.
That being said, it was a FG attempt not a punt. -

The fake field goal, per Pete's interview with Elise Woodward, was not a called play. Somehow the players thought it was called and went for it, but it was not something Pete called.
No fucking clue how that happens. Glad to know Petersen didn't make a dumb fucking call. Not glad to know that players are thinking plays are being called even when they aren't. -

So our play calls in are so confusing the kids don't know what to run? WTF is going on? Happy to know Pete isn't a retard. Equally unhappy to know our play calling system is.
