Trump says he’s revoking California’s power to limit pollution from cars and trucks

Trump says a lot of bullshit. California’s epa exemption goes back 50 years and is authorized in law. Meanwhile, California’s agreement with automakers to adhere to Sacramento standards, not trump’s, remains firmly in place. Just like all trump idiocy, this will be litigated for years, and will be immediately revoked if he loses next year. California has been kicking trump’s ass for 2.5 years now. He should be getting used to it by now.

First of all, this is Trump talking and nothing is going to come of it.

Secondly, California has tighter restrictions for a reason and I won't live there for that reason. Although I haven't gotten a ticket with my deleted diesel yet.

That being said, I have a question Bob. Trump says cars will be cheaper and therefore the consumer will pay less. Do you think the car manufacturers will sell cars for less? Explain your answer.

They will be no less stringent then they are now. So there will be no more pollution than there is now. So when you say that Race prefers to "go back to a haze over downtown LA" You're either lying or you're a fucking moron.

How are we going back when the standard isn't changing from what it is today? In fact, the standard that Trump wants is the standard that is set to exist in 2020.
