How come "toxic masculinity" in the form of Honor killings is almost exclusively a Muslim problem?

What is behind the idea of killing someone for honour?
Honour killings are deeply steeped in the tribal traditions of countries such as India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Syria, Persian Gulf countries and Turkey.
Amnesty International says it boils down to a “deeply rooted belief that women are objects and commodities, not human beings entitled to dignity and rights equal to those of men”.
Now what is it that those countries all share in common? I just can't quite put my finger on it.

Still waiting on those other cultures that practice honor killing with anything near the frequency that Muslim practice it O'Keefed. Weird the way nearly all the Honor Killings taking place in Western countries are all being carried out by Muslims.

There is significant garden variety “honor killing” in tribal or mixed tribal and modern societies. Hindu honor killing in parts of India, for example, where Christian honor killings have also occurred. Even the highest guesstimates of honor killings in the US are very low. And this isn’t to ignore the fact that American parents are more likely to be their child’s murderer than a stranger is. The father is more likely to intentionally kill a rebellious teenager—just as the Bible commands.SFGbob said:

Christians murdering their daughters because they refuse to marry the person that they were arranged to marry or because they talked to a man who wasn't a relative or they posted a photo on Instagram is fucking unheard of outside maybe some severely mentally ill individuals in the West unless the person is Muslim.HHusky said:

Anywhere you find Muslims you'll find honor killings and you'll also often find no actions taken by the authorities against the killers if they are in a Muslim country. Can you say the same about the few Christians who might have done something similar?
Face it O'Keefed, Muslims murder gays, murder women and are generally more fucked up and backwards than the rest of the world, despite your Muslim friend who wouldn't hurt a fly. -
And of course other than you're unsupported bullshit about Christian father murdering their rebellious teenagers as commanded by the Bible you've provided nothing to show that honor killings happen outside of Muslim cultures with anything near the frequency that they do in Muslim cultures.

Love to do a little research into the honor killings being carried out in the UK, Sweden, United States and Canada. No doubt it's Christian fathers following the commands of the Bible, right O'Keefed? -
You have a very tiny number of religiously inspired murders of family members in the US. We have a growing number of Muslims here.
