Never had Popeye's Chicken sandwich but I like their spicy chicken couple tims a year. Is their spicy sandwich really just the regular plus a spicy mayo? If so that's pathetic and dumb as fuck for a company that makes actual tasty spicy fried chicken. Their food is pretty cheap and not bad so I imagine their sandwich is fine.
Chick-fil-A? I had two bites of their spicy chicken sandwich and spit both out. It seemed like they were using a brine to carry spiciness throughout the meat, which is fine, but the thing was so fucking salty and artificial tasting it was a no for me dawg. Did I get a bad one??

I loved Shakey's. Olympia used to have 2 of them. I remember going to the one downtown for a birthday party when I was a kid and getting a GI Joe with the scuba gear and shark cage - complete with badass tiger shark. Now we have zero Shakey's. A fried chicken sandwich can only be so good. I had Chik Fil A a couple times. Decent sandwich - nothing special. You want a good fucking sandwich? Get an Italian Beef from Mr Beef in Chicago - soaking wet with plenty of giardiniera. Try one - you'll see. Yeah, I know Chicago is a bit of a drive for lunch. You figure it out. -

No, went to Princes, the home of hot chicken in Nashville at it was fucking awful. Inedible. I once ate a pork chop that had been in my desk for three days and another time a full can of gas station tamales I got for 69 cents. Princes hot chicken was way worse than either.PurpleThrobber said:
