Strange that they have the key of each song listed..YellowSnow said:Played the Clink last night and I could NOT have cared less. Maybe @89ute if you only have 1 song on the set list that was released post 1981, it's Tim to hang it up lads.

The crowd was rocking

There are really only 2 artists from 60's that made worthwhile music after the early 80s...RaceBannon said:The crowd was rocking

The only times ive seen that are bands with stand-in session guitarists that just noodle around and play some solos, or my buddy that uses autotune when he sings at shows..

I swear my GF lost my copy of Ragged Glory. She says no but I know it wasn't me.YellowSnow said:

I've babied that disk since the early 90s. The empty case has been floating around my car for months now. I'm pissed, and it figures it's the only Neil CD I had that I never got around to ripping to my computer. -
Chinned for, "You Can Call Me Al," video. Fucking quality.YellowSnow said:

Elton wasn't a 60's artist. And furthermore, he didn't record anything worthwhile after the mid 70s. -
Always assumed @greenrivergatorz rock was from the 60s, so your first point stands.YellowSnow said:

But if we’re gonna bash The Circle Of Life I’m fucking out! -
His best work was almost the 60s. And he was done by 76. Philadelphia Freedom. Fuck off

Yep that's where I'm headed. It's just laziness that's kept me from signing up.RaceBannon said:

Almost don't count. There's not a single classic song on Empty Sky. The Led Zeppelin analogy of being both 60s and 70's band doesn't hold here.RaceBannon said:His best work was almost the 60s. And he was done by 76. Philadelphia Freedom. Fuck off
@dnc I fucking hate the Lion King. Do you have any idea how much I have to hear the stupid sound track in my house? FML. -
That's a pretty respectable play list.

And for the Lion King haters....the new CGI version is pretty fucking good.
The new Timon is funny as fuck.

I don't have much to add...but damn. I fucking love this pic. Just fucking love it.PurpleThrobber said:YellowSnow said:

I went, kinda because I had to. First and probably only opportunity I’ll get to see them live.
It was still a fun show, even though they’re obviously not what they used to be -
That's fair. I saw them once when I was in college to pay homage. It was at the Kingdome and it sucked.NEsnake12 said:I went, kinda because I had to. First and probably only opportunity I’ll get to see them live.

I'm just bitter because I never got to see any of my favorite bands Stones, Beatles, and Who back when all you needed was an area rug on the stage and a TUFF PA system.

Find a better favorite band imo.

They are old and suck too now you know.Swaye said:Find a better favorite band imo.

Bullshit. I jsut saw them last year and they will still melt your face off. 20 more years? Yeah, probably the Stones Rolling Geriatric Show.YellowSnow said:

Well dude, could not disagree more. Even the Stones shit album Dirty work, 1986 has a couple of gems on it. Too Rude and Sleep Tonight.YellowSnow said:Played the Clink last night and I could NOT have cared less. Yeah, no number 1s, but you've got to appeal to the ever changing populous to have a number 1.
If you don't like the stuff on Undercover, Dirty Work, Steele Wheels, VooDoo Lounge, Bridges to Babylon, even Bigger Bang has a few gems ... you either have not listened to these albums or you're just or ... well, or, I don't know. Fuck off?
This is just one of several I'd put right up there with the late 60s and 70s hits. It's quintessential Stones.https://youtu.be/WYaPwsP-QkI
10/31/19 - I'm gona shove a fucking row boat oar up your ass! -
The best indicator of how old I actually am was attending the pearl jam home shows. I was like 'there are a lot of old people here.' Then I was like, fuuuuuck. Also Eddie Vedder is tiny.

Word on the street is my favorite band of all tim is cooking up a tour as a tribute to Malcolm Young and to celebrate the release of the greatest hard rock album 40 years ago.
I'm going.
I'm seeing Maiden in Tacoma next month, too. I'm going with my kids and a buddy from my UW days. I think my kids are planning to mash me in the pit.
Doing my part to support the senior community. -

Songs 2,6,7, and 11 could have been replaced by bigger hits. Just a bunch of filler

I’m gonna throw you off the row boat dock first.89ute said:

Saint of Me is the Stones trying to be relevant and cute with the Dust Brothers. Meh.
Tattoo You is the last great album. Undercover has some interesting moments.
Voodoo Lounge a Bigger Bang were ok. Nothing special.
