    Making their goods cheaper in US markets to offset the impacts of tariffs is backtracking only in the minds of trumptards. And here you are.
    But it also makes imports more expensive and gives their people less purchasing power. The tariffs are still in place. The move doesn't come without a cost to China.
    They only stopped propping their currency up after dropping tariffs with most everyone except us therefore cost of imports from everywhere but the US are about the same. It’s part of the reason our exports to China have decreased more then Chinese exports to the US. Trade deficit has actually gotten worse since the Trump tax increase was put in place on Middle Class America.
