So 75% to go to hit hero status like Obama?
-
The article says the trade deficit is up 25% not the debt.

Let's run the numbers

CBO is. They have a website where they publish data. I hope this helps.RaceBannon said:Let's run the numbers

I'm old enough to remember when the GOP's top platform item was to reduce the deficit. That's grown by 25% since Trump took over, while the debt has grown by 10.5%. I guess Paul Ryan is too busy coaching little league to fix it.

What an insane misunderstanding of government financesSledog said:So 75% to go to hit hero status like Obama?

Well, Trump is weak on the deficit. So are most Republicans, all dems and most voting citizens and voting illegals. The alternative is dems offering trillions in more spending.
-
Never had 60 votes in the Senate and for some reason mitch didn't want to nuke option it, so he had to add the bs the Democrats wanted.

How many illegals get free healthcare in California? Has Newsom run the numbers yet? Is he a dictator? What about the supreme court? -
I don't recall the Democrats cutting taxes or adding to military spending.Goduckies said:Never had 60 votes in the Senate and for some reason mitch didn't want to nuke option it, so he had to add the bs the Democrats wanted.

We're never going to fix the deficit. The GOP wants to massively cut taxes and maybe not massively add to spending (cutting spending never happens). Democrats want to raise taxes and massively raise spending. Both sides are fiscally retarded.
Meanwhile we pass more and more debt onto future generations everyday while both sides act like they gaf about "the children!"
Fuck em both. -
Do you recall the Rats having anything to do with this Hondo?
"Two programs — Medicare and Medicaid — are expected to account for 86% of all estimated HHS spending in FY2019," it said.
In the first eight months of this fiscal year, which began in October, HHS spent $834,346,000,000, according to the Monthly Treasury Statement for May. That is up from $731,724,000,000 in the first eight months of last fiscal year.
Through all of fiscal 2018, HHS spent approximately $1,120,500,000,000 — or $93,375,000,000 per month.
Through this full fiscal year, according to the estimate published in the Monthly Treasury Statement, HHS will spend approximately $1,230,273,000,000 — or $102,522,750,000 per month.
In May alone, according to the Monthly Treasury Statement, HHS spent $146,552,000,000. -
Revenues are up. As is spending. Same as it ever was
In fact if the democrats weren't retards they could get a bunch more spending because of the democrat in the White House who likes to spend
I will never support tax hikes because its my money and I do better with it than the idiots in DC. Its not a tax problem it is a spending problem. Despite these "massive" tax cuts we still pay out about 50% of what we make to all levels of government.
You can take all the wealth of the top 1% and run the country for around a year. Then what? -
The rest was just gibberish.WestlinnDuck said:Well, Trump is weak .

Medicare and Medicaid are the two programs that are killing us fiscally and the spending on both of those just continues to increase every year.RaceBannon said:Revenues are up. As is spending. Same as it ever was

There being said Bob. What actions from Democrats the last two years are responsible for the Medicare increase? -
Looks like democrats want to gut Medicare according to hondo

Republicans and Rats and to the extent that any Rats opposed Medicare part D it's because they wanted to create an even more expensive program.2001400ex said:

Yeah Obama basically doubled the debt he inherited by spending more than all previous presidents combined. So if Trump increased by 25% how much more would it take to double it from the number he inherited?GreenRiverGatorz said:

Not to mention. Decreased revenues from the recession was a large contributing factor to the increase in debt and large deficit during Obama's first few years.GreenRiverGatorz said:

Obama spent it. Get over it. Trump is way behind what you hail as the greatest ever. Now we have a president that is doing great things for the economy and it pisses you off because it smashes your socialist dream. Break out the gear and get that revolution going! We're waiting.

Ummmmmm....have you looked at revenues vs expenditures from 2008-2016? The majority of the debt was due to expenditures. Revenue fell slightly in 2008, was off 17% in 2009 and has been steadily climbing since to what will be a record 3.44 trillion this year. Up 61% in 10 years. US population is up 8% in that timeframe. Revenue isn’t, nor has it been the “large contributing factor” to the debt.2001400ex said:
