    Lol the campaigns haven't even really began. I will say right now the field is awful. But no matter who enters, you'll think they are awful regardless. Why are you surprised?
    Hondo the fucking coward declares that the Rat Party Presidential field is awful because he doesn't want to defend any of the candidates or admit who he will vote for. He then denounces you because you also think they're awful.

    Pure Kunt.

    @Swaye
    “Nobody wants to vote for loser democrats because they’re so weak, unlike Trump”

    @apag
    “More people voted for Hillary than Trump”

    @You
    “I’m too fucking stupid to comprehend what is happening but he said something about the popular vote so I’ll regurgitate the same fucktarded points that have been made a thousand times before because I literally can’t think for myself”

    You’re out of your element, Donny.
    Someone needs to show Mercer Island the National County results again.

    Nailed it. All Dems have to do to win is give more than lip service to blue collar workers in the midwest. They would win in a landslide. Instead they go all in on The War on Coal and Oil and Gas and anything that isn't a windmill, transgender bathrooms, raising taxes (always popular lulz), open borders and ICE abolishment, and UBI. All huge losers with middle America.

    News flash dumbfuck Dems - you already have the upper East Coast and the Left Coast. Going more retard on socialism will not help you win the electoral college. The people you are appealing to in Portland and Boston were voting for you anyway. Dumbasses.
    No, our resident progressives told me that the centrists and independents are all going to "fall in line" like good comrades if they get a ideologically pure enough candidate in there.

    Nobody has to convince me that the Dems have, or will, shit themselves again. What a terrible group when it comes to strategy. Just terrible.

    But I wonder: where are the centrist Republicans? Where is my group who isn't much more excited about the hijacking of the party by the Neo-populists and Christian bananas than they are about Pocahontas and her band of liberal Indians (sorry @Swaye ; didn't mean it like that)?

    Where do they "fall in line"? Or do they just stay home and "say fug it"!?

    Trump is not a christian right candidate. Once upon a time more Christians felt at home as democrats than they do now. They vote. They have to vote for someone. Should i go for the party of Tahlib? That's the religion the let has adopted. Live with the consequence.

    This idea of ideological purity on religion or trade or anything else has been thrown out the window

    As has the idea that Trump is somehow a dangerous change from the status quo. He and Scoop would drink whisky and fuck whores all night long

    One party has sold out to illegal immigrants and the export of jobs and the destruction of the middle class

    The other is "populist" I guess because Trump clearly puts the interests of Americans first. People notice shit like that

    The democrats got the House back by promising to get to work on healthcare. Instead we get impeachment

    A border deal could be made. Instead we get obstruction and a border swarm of illegals

    You can blame the voters or you can understand why they don't vote for you anymore

    I think Trump has purposefully made himself appeal to the Christian right, and I think you know that. It's smart. Don't twist. It's neither bad nor good from where I sit. It just is what it is. The history of who used to associate with the Democratic party is as relevant as who used to associate with the Republican party. The old Republican guard was

    I'm sure not going to blame the elimination of the middle class in American on one party. That has taken years and the effort of many along with many other factors.

    If the Republicans are the new nationalists and protectionists, then that's what they are. It is not in line with what the party stood for over the last many, many years. This is a change. Whether it's good or not remains to be seen. I think protectionism is a loser in the long run. But feels good in the short run. That's my take because I believe in the inevitability of economic outcomes that should be economic outcomes. Clinton may have done the ministerial job of signing NAFTA, but it was the vision of Reagan and the Heritage Foundation to have open and free trade with Latin America. I'm sure you know this. Company's have outsourced for cheaper labor under each party's watch for decades. Trump has turned Republican values on its ear.

    I think you either believe in free market economis and comparative advantage or you don't. Sure, take a hard line on China. I've said as much. They cheat and they look you square in the eye and lie about it.

    I think Trump is as sincere about immigration as he is about abortion. It's just smart politics. I've said it a million times: who could be for illegal immigration? I've also said a million times that it's far from our most pressing issue.

    I don't blame the voters. They are what they are. Which brings me back to my first point: the democrats no longer know how to win an election.

    Neither party actually believes in "Free Trade." That's the fig leaf over the bullshit.

    They both believe in cheap labor and high profit margins and there's not a sliver of daylight between their constituents at GE, GM, Apple, Intel or Levi Strauss on that position. Almost forgot Nike. FML.

    as opposed to our Alpha President who whines like a bitch every day on Twitter?
    Yes. Because as stupid and childish as some of the shit that comes out of his mouth might be, he doesn't apologize for being an American and for being white. I readily concede that appearances are important, and that one is important.

    Most people don't want to feel badly about and marginalize themselves. I have to admit that the wanton acceptance of "white guy this and white guy that" gets old after a bit. I am a white guy, so why would I want to be synonymous with badness and the punch line to every PC joke and the explanation for everything wrong in society? I don't.

    Things are too easy for the guy that couldn’t beat Hillary Clinton in the popular vote.

    Maybe in 2020 Democrats can learn to read a map
