Lambo was a highly respected coach in the state for 40 years. Respected by his PAC coaching peers and loved by his players. He inherited a mess and ended up with Hedges taking the fall to grease the skids for Neuheisel's "turn-around".

    In support of your argument, UW Football is not a good example to use. Don James was guilty of his own undoing, he ran a dirty program and finally got caught by the NCAA. Jim Lambright was stuck trying to clean up a mess that was of epic proportions. Adademic fraud, doctored transcripts, credits for classes never taken, monthly payments, new cars. . . . .just about everything imaginable. Players left, recruiting tanked and Lambright was the sacrificial Lamb.

    Lambright never tried to clean up a mess. He just didnt have a cheating war chest left after the NCAA blew their whistles. Lambright couldnt clean a chalkboard if you gave him an eraser. He was the classic promoted assistant failure.
