Fox News correspondent at-large Geraldo Rivera is warning several Obama-era intelligence chiefs that they should be worried after Attorney General William Barr aired his concerns about the origins of the Mueller investigation in a new interview.
During an appearance on "Fox & Friends" Friday, Rivera said it's clear Barr wants to get to the bottom of the Russia probe's origins and that he has "his target" on some of the biggest names associated with it.
"If I were James Comey right now or James Clapper right now or John Brennan right now, I would be quaking in my boots," Rivera said.
"Why? Because the attorney general of the United States has set his target on you,” he said.
Barr, in his own interview, said that in his research he has only been left with more questions than answers.
“I assumed I’d get answers when I went in, and I have not gotten answers that are, well, satisfactory," Barr said. "And, in fact, I probably have more questions, and that some of the facts that, that I’ve learned don’t hang together with the official explanations of what happened.”
In the real world we call that lying

Barr gets it.
JAN CRAWFORD: But it seems like you have a concern that there may have been a bias by top officials in the FBI as they looked at whether to launch and conduct this investigation?
WILLIAM BARR: Well it's hard to read some of the texts with and not feel that there was gross bias at work and they're appalling. And if the shoe were on the other--
JAN CRAWFORD: Appalling.
WILLIAM BARR: Those were appalling. And on their face they were very damning and I think if the shoe was on the other foot we could be hearing a lot about it. If those kinds of discussions were held you know when Obama first ran for office, people talking about Obama in those tones and suggesting that "Oh that he might be a Manchurian candidate for Islam or something like that." You know some wild accusations like that and you had that kind of discussion back and forth, you don't think we would be hearing a lot more about it?
I recommend the entire interview
He goes after the press and Mueller.
The explanation over why he released the 4 page summary and how Mueller's refusal to highlight the grand jury testimony so that it could be quickly redacted and the report released was also interesting. The summary fucked up the narrative that Mueller wanted to leak to the press.
My respect for Barr has grown, the guy has balls.

JAN CRAWFORD: You- I guess when you said that there were things done that were not the typical run of business, ad hoc, small group, it's not how these counterintelligence operations normally work. I think that maybe Comey and others might say well this was such an extraordinary thing we had to keep it so closely held. So we had to do it differently what's your response to that? Is that legit?
WILLIAM BARR: Well it might be legit under certain circumstances but a lot of that has to do with how good the evidence was at that point. And you know Mueller has spent two and half years and the fact is there is no evidence of a conspiracy. So it was bogus, this whole idea that the Trump was in cahoots with the Russians is bogus.
Gosh Hondo the pathological liar said it was a "documented fact." -
AG Barr Sends Warning to Deep State in Blunt CBS Interview: Govt Interference in Elections as Bad as Foreign

Barr would have never written the Summary if Mueller had done what he was supposed to do and identified the Grand Jury material.
Now why didn't Mueller highlight that material? He knew Barr couldn't legally release the report without the information being removed. Mueller and his team wanted that time it would take for Barr to release the report to leak their narrative to the press. Barr's summary rat fucked that plan.

The previous admin took a non-existent tie to Russia and turned it into a 2+ year investigation. Let's see what the current admin can do with this.allpurpleallgold said:

He also questions the pathetic investigation methods that Obama's FBI used if the threat of Russian interference was as alarming as everyone is now claiming they believed it to be.
Why was their response to this "alarm" limited to "dangling a confidential informant in front of a peripheral player in the Trump campaign" if the threat was so alarming?
He isn't buying their bullshit story. -
Race if you haven't listened to the entire interview you should do so. Right man in the right position. Barr was a home run pick.
