    Oddly enough, if there is a potential fix, it might be having the company that created binge watching going retro and (gasp) releasing their shows on a *weekly* basis:

Contrast that with my son, who will probably jerk off for the first time to an 8K VR video of Germans fisting and shitting on each other that he'll accidentally stumble upon while doing a search for monarch butterflies for a school project.     The acting by the lead villains is phenomenal and what keeps me hooked. Especially for John Smith.

    You need to level up your suspension of disbelief my friend. I hand waved a lot of the historical details because I find the political intrigue in this world’s post-WWII fascinating. In addition to Rufus Sewell, the actors who play the Japanese trade minister and head of the Kempeitai (secret police) are superb. Plus I’m proud of the show that they actually *give you answers* rather than have some drawn out X-Files/Lost-esque bullshit. It’s not perfect, but I encourage a second look.
