I tend not to question internal recruiting strategies since the asymmetry of information between us and them is absolutely massive.
That said, I just have no fucking clue what value Harris is bringing to the table. By all appearances he's a very outgoing and charismatic guy, so to not hear his name in connection with any 2020 recruits is bizarre. And I can't even theorize what the fuck we're doing deploying him to Texas. There's usually plausible reasons for some of the odd stuff Pete does, but this time I can't think of any reason that this approach even remotely makes sense. -
Maybe he's the patsy? Maybe he's driving around Texas with bags full of money and handing it out to all the coaches down there to plant the UW seed, and if we get busted he can take the fall?

1. We need top shelf talent to take our program from pac-12 Boise to WASHINGTON.
2. We can’t even consistently beat TCU for guys like Colt Ellison.
3. However, we can beat USC for kids like Latu.
4. So of course it makes sense to keep trying to find scraps and rarities in Texas where our hit rate on an offer is LITERALLY 100 times lower than it is in Cali.
