“Young athletes like Yankoff didn’t know — and weren’t told — that they would wind up in a five-way battle for playing time; or that head coach Chris Petersen isn’t a huge fan of dual-threat quarterbacks, preferring pure drop-back guys.”
Shockingly deceptive; extremely vile on Peterman’s part -
It's a wonder young athletes like Yankoff even play anymore, what with all this "competition" and what not. I propose a rule that each quarter back gets to play 1 quarter of every gameBaseman said:“Young athletes like Yankoff didn’t know — and weren’t told — that they would wind up in a five-way battle for playing time; or that head coach Chris Petersen isn’t a huge fan of dual-threat quarterbacks, preferring pure drop-back guys.”

at least the author finally called Eason our starting quarterback

He obviously didn't ask for @puppylove_sugarsteel's opinion on this matter.Meek said:at least the author finally called Eason our starting quarterback

Puppy never said Eason wouldn't start. Just that Eason would probably start but maybe not. Haener was ahead leading into spring game, so Haener could have started and he still might, but he might not. But don't count on Eason to be the savior. Haener could be the starter, but he could struggle. If he struggles, then Eason will start. If Eason struggles, then Haener will start. If they both struggle, then it'll be Morris, but then he isn't ready, so maybe Sirmon.CFetters_Nacho_Lover said:

Chip Kelly is going to have a Yankoff workout.

Can he transfer in conference? I thought coaches usually did allow that unless they suck like Troy Williams.UWhuskytskeet said: -
I think all rules have been trashed with the Portal ... true Wild Wild West stuff

Yankoff is seriously bad, shit it took less than one year and we were already talking about when he was gonna move to safety. Pete may not care too much about this one.2001400ex said:

Grad transfer doesn't require any coach approvalBaseman said:2001400ex said:

I thought he would be a great QB for us, but it’s been obvious for awhile that it wasn’t going to happen.GreenRiverGatorz said:

Not sure what he's thinking. Pac-12 rules are still restrictive for intra-conference transfers. You have to sit out a year and you lose that year.
With so many QB transfers being granted immediate eligibility these days Tate Martell Ohio St>Miami, Justin Fields Georgia>Ohio State, Jack Tuttle Utah>Indiana, etc. It seems asinine to go into a situation where you have zero chance of getting immediate eligibility. -
He loses the year regardless as he has already redshirted

Not bragging but The Throbber has been yanked off in CDA a couple times....
Nothing special.
