Not so sure all of Donnie's problems were tied to Russia Probe. Maybe. I don't know. He seemed to stumble a little on his own. Let's face it: the first year or so on the job he was newbie to Washington and barely understood the mechanics of how it even works. No doubt, that if this turns out to have been started the way it's being written in the Tug, that's bad and I can't rationalize it. It's bad for the country and it's a terrible precedent to establish. We'll be a pineapple republic in no time, with fisticuffs on the senate floor and all kinds of crazy shit.
Would be interesting to replay the last two years w/o Russia and see what does and does not get done. Hard to say. -

Paul Ryan may have been a dick regardless. Never Trumpers came before the accusations. They found the campaign unseemly. And don't undersell the Bush Establishment Let's Put Troops All Over the World wing that hated him as well
