Of note, after he blew up last month at the LA opening, Jimmy & Harris followed him and his parents the next day. Took some time for the offer, which makes me think they really want him up for the spring but he wasn’t likely to visit unofficially without an offer. -
-
has ND offered? if not, not interested
-
I mean, his film is ok.
-
I might be wrong but he's a LB for me. I like about 4-5 guys ahead of him in this cycle though that we are already in on.

He got fucked by clownshoes Martinez lol against Mater DeiDennis_DeYoung said:I mean, his film is ok.

Not violent enough. Soft tackler. Pass.
-
His testing numbers are insane. I'm in.
-
He currently has the highest SPARQ rating in the country. I honestly DGAF about tape at that point.
Verified 6'1 216, 4.6 40, 4.09 shuttle(!), 41" PB, 39.3" vert.
Our coaching staff can turn that into something. Or he might be the next Milo. EWIWBI.

Also he looks black black so he's not coming here. -

This one time he got beat by a kid we wanted who is a year older than him, he must suck!backthepack said:

Also his tape is still pretty good. The make-up speed is evident both in pursuit, going to the sideline, and in coverage.HillsboroDuck said:

He might be relying a lot on his athleticism, but the athleticism shows up. That's one of the main things you look for in high school film. -
Wait....so our coaches know what they are doing?
-
As a WIL, I could see him in our D. He's basically an athletically gifted Keishawn Bierria body type. However, his film is like watching someone learn to play madden on easy.
He moves fast, but he wastes a lot of time and space going in the wrong directions. I'm sure he'd be good eventually for us... I like other WILs this cycle a lot better. I guess the whole thing rests on whether we feel like we can coach him to know what he's doing.
The problem is intuition is such a big part of football... toss up for me. -
Intuition can be learned. To a degree.
Natural athleticism like that is always a great thing as the coaches can work on the instincts and brain. -
"It's a big offer for me," Williams told Dawgman.com. "(Bob Gregory) said he’s been watching me for a long time and he’s talked to a lot of people about me and he loves my film and he feels that I would fit perfectly in his defense."
"I know Trent (McDuffie) really well and I've known Terrell Bynum and Sean (McGrew) for a while too, so I have some guys I know up there already," Williams said. "Now that they've offered, I definitely want to get up there and check it out.”
It’s been amazing to hear all the local kids loving each other up, talking about what it would be like to be home town heroes, how it would feel to put it on for their city.
Then we there is all of the island kids and the mainland poly kids mentioning the poly culture being grown and how it feels like a home away from home in Seattle.
But there is a special place in my pants when kids from SoCal are able to name drop players on the roster that they are close with. It worked with McDuffie this last cycle. It worked with Irvin two cycles ago. I need this to be cultivated more to where it isn’t a question that a SoCal kid knows that not only is UW going to develop him more than USC, but he can play with other SoCal kids he knows the same way Poly kids and local kids feel right now.
I NEED IT! -
Waiting for Notre Dame to offer as a DB before I start to like our chances or getting him at LB
-
I am not sure that's the case. The reason why guys like Myles Gaskin and Byron Murphy were playmakers is that they had that 'football IQ' that Kourt (claims to, but) doesn't have.animate said:Intuition can be learned. To a degree.

The true greats are guys like Reggie who have both extraordinary physical characteristics and tremendous football IQ.
I think this is a 'lets offer you to make sure we aren't on the outside looking in' offer. I doubt we are going to really make our serious final choices at linebacker until after camp this summer. -
No more jockeys. If you don't thump people then fuck off. I don't care about his fucking testing numbers. Cool, he's a much less physical Camilo Eifler. Fuck off with that shit.
-
Dude, nick harris does not physically standout but he had great testing numbers. He turned out pretty fucking good.StrongArmCobra said:No more jockeys. If you don't thump people then fuck off. He's way better in coverage than Camilo Eifler. And he's not a puss, he just needs to learn some proper tackling technique.StrongArmCobra said:No more jockeys. As much as I hate Bobby Special Ed, I'm still confident he can fix that. Worth the scholly for a guy who will probably transfer out if he fails anyway. -
Dude, what the fuck are you talking about? I'm not talking about testing numbers. I'm talking about physicality. Harris' toughness has never been in question. He was always a scrappy fucker on film and when he got here. This dude's film is charmin soft. Don't give him a pass because he's black. He doesn't have one fucking play in his film that pops in terms of physicality. Looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane. He's going to UCLA where soft kids go.WeakarmCobra said:

“I’m also planning to take an unofficial visit to Washington next month and then I’m going to camp with Clemson in the summer. My plan is to make my decision before the season gets here, so sometime late in the summer. That way I can just focus on our my senior year and my team at Bosco without worrying about recruiting.”
