Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.) threatened her moderate colleagues during a Thursday Democratic caucus meeting, telling the lawmakers she plans to provide progressive activists searching for primary targets with a list of Democrats who work across the aisle.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi began the meeting by chastising the two dozen moderates who voted on Tuesday in favor of a Republican amendment to a gun control bill that requires gun retailers to report illegal immigrants who attempt to buy a gun.
“We are either a team or we’re not, and we have to make that decision,” Pelosi said, two people who were present told the Washington Post.

Karl Rove figured out that there is no meaningful center to appeal to in 2004 (it’s why Bush’s ‘04 campaign focused on gay marriage so much) and yet people still believe in a mythical center that can win a presidential election. If that were true the Hillary strategy of appealing to Republicans dismayed by Trump would have worked.

The best way for the democrats to win back power is by turning out their base, in which a majority supports progressive Sanders-wing policies. If Bill Clinton’s New Democrats who were basically just 1970’s Republicans were too far left for you than you were never going to vote for a demcroat anyway and can fuck off.

The biggest problem with leftists is their claim to care about the environment and wanting big change but don't want to give up a life of convenience. Agree with most of this, except, this is not the biggest problem with leftists. Their hypocrisy on most things is visible to anyone with a pulse. The "for me but not for thee" theme permeates. It's not limited to environmental concerns. However, the biggest problem with these fuck sticks is that they generally want power and control over most aspects of our everyday lives.
