    I only upvoted you (instead of chinned you) because I think you missed the point HuskyJW was making, or that I think he was making.

    All of the posters prior to HuskyJW were acting like this story was something funny, just another day of talking shit on this board by a typical football fan that is willing to take any player that can help us win at all cost.

    HuskyJW was the first to give another perspective. And he probably wrote what he did because most posters here can relate more to the father than to the 15yo girl.

    Yes, it might have been even better to give a perspective about the fact that a 15yo girl was raped and that we shouldn't be joking about a transfer prospect... but crowd psychology is a thing, especially on a football board... and until HuskyJW broached the idea that maybe something wrong happened... most posters here were probably not ready to hear it.

    As far as I'm concerned, the fact that Stalin doesn't allow jokes about a poster in a wheelchair, but allows them about a transfer prospect sending a video of 15yo girl that was raped -- is very telling.

    I think you're missing the point that OP was making. IMO he's clearly satirizing the win at any cost mentality that exists in college football in general, not making light of the situation with the girl.

    I think it's possible to separate the two, because you're criticizing the bigger aspect by making fun of it, and not making light of the personal tragedy involved.

    Or maybe Bread was just being a dick. There's a lot of different types of people on this bored, and it's hard to tell sometimes.
