I feel like this should be talked about on a poddy. I can play the nasally one who talks over everyone, yells in all caps, and consumes way too many obscurely named drinks.

Does any one have shitty technical skills?

    Yes!
Let’s make this shitty shit happen! I’ll drink way too much and then try and read all of this stuff. Kinda like drunk history or every TSIO podcast.
If @Swaye @backthepack and @LaMichael_Corleone continue to ignore my pm's this is what the board is going to have.
And what’s wrong with that? I have a voice made for radio or call in porn 800 #’s.

Disagree on Cam Williams. Lake commented on his hitting ability and he’s a playmaker. He’s good.

Cam also has elite quickness, I think his opening shuttle was top 20-ish in the country.
If true that dramatically changes my opinion here

Cam Williams was tied for 25th in the country at 4.09.

Trent McDuffie was tied for 17th in the country at 4.05.

Every time I've heard Lake discuss Cam Williams he glows. He has mentioned multiple times his big play ability and that he will slot into Taylor Rapp's role from day 1. Of course how quick he picks it up is to be determined.

Yeah he ran a 4.09 at 190 pounds. Probably like 25th best in the country, but a lot of those kids ahead are lighter.
Alright I’m in on Williams, don’t know how I missed that memo but that’s way more important than long speed.

Not probably, it was literally tied for the 25th best time in the country per my comment above, at least for those who participated in the opening.

He was bigger than all but 9 of those 25 players.

One more thing to add to this thread: The Huskies got two big time defensive walk-ons in this class, and that deserves to be mentioned in the overall breakdown above. Wouldn't be shocked if at least one of those guys makes a contribution down the road, and the special teams coverage definitely could use the help.

Fowler is good. I've seen him play and he's legit.

I was critical of Turner's film in his thread, in a "looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane" sense. I get it: He's big and jumps high and Notre Dame wanted him and he's a top-300 guy. I deserved all the WTFs I got. What I should have said was, "Compare to Cam Williams' film." Turner's in the fold now and I'm done being negative about him (in Lake we trust), but he's like bizarro Williams for me in that Williams' film blew me away yet he seems to get less respect due to one underwhelming 40 time. Williams seems to always be EXACTLY where he's supposed to be on the field, is a sure and violent tackler, is more of an agility-over-straight-line-speed guy, diagnoses quickly to blow plays up close to the LOS before they develop, and makes plays on the ball. Sounds a lot like a recent Husky who's heading to the draft.

cam's hips are so fucking fluid. I think he should play corner. He changes direction effortlessly
