AOC’s Green New Deal is even better than we thought.

And by better, I mean LAUGHABLY TERRIBLE.

For one, it’s ACTUALLY funny. I mean like LOL-at-you-not-with-you funny.

Sounds like it should pass any day now.

[ The Green New Deal has momentum.
o 92 percent of Democrats and 64 percent of Republicans support the
    Green New Deal
o Nearly every major Democratic Presidential contender say they back
the Green New deal including: Elizabeth Warren, Cory Booker, Kamala
Harris, Jeff Merkeley, Julian Castro, Kirsten Gillibrand, Bernie Sanders,
    Tulsi Gabbard, and Jay Inslee.
o 45 House Reps and 330+ groups backed the original resolution for a
    select committee
o Over 300 local and state politicians have called for a federal Green
    New Deal
o New Resolution has 20 co-sponsors, about 30 groups (numbers will
    change by Thursday).]

Cortez actually said a tax cut is a government expenditure

    Heard with my own ears

    But she's an economist

If she's the first economist you ever heard say that, you need to get out more.

So a lot of economists are idiots?

    Not surprising

Race also thinks tax cuts increase revenue. So there's that.

Oh and Cortez thinks raising taxes will increase revenues despite all evidence to the contrary.

But she sure has hondo fooled

Facts show that but why would you care about facts?

How is the government getting less of my money an expenditure?

    Don't hurt yourself
It isn't an expenditure, but it increases the deficit and eventually will be an expenditure when we have to pay for it.

Wait. So when Clinton raised taxes in the 90s and Obama raised taxes in the 10s, revenues didn't go up? I'd like to see the support on that.

It only increases the deficit if spending outpaces revenue that rises with tax cuts.

So you agree it's stupid to call a tax cut an expenditure. We're getting somewhere

No. It increases the deficit because revenues as a percent of GDP go down. Meaning they are not growing with the growth in the economy. After all this discussion, is that concept lost on you?

    JFC

Tax cuts grow the economy and that's bad?

Spending grows the deficit not the GDP

Illiterates. No wonder Cortez is killing it

Is this a woosh or you take believe this?

I though the Green New Deal was going to come out and win the Trump boys over. This is a shocking turn of events. You’re...critical of it? Wut.

Keep trotting out the same tired arguments that are the reason she’s popular in the first place.
