Ektard hearing he may retire after tearing his ACL in the Rose Bowl. Danny Hammer and Calvert may have to start from day 1.

I was surprised with convo including #MyBeavers in the depth chart. Poor kid just can't stay healthy.

If hes got another serious injury he's done. This is why we need Toot Toot
-
Bummer, I liked his game but he had the injury bug for sure.

The entire front seven is relying on redshirts and true freshmen to be good. At least there are a lot of interior DL to throw at the problem and see who is at least close to ready. I know it's quookish to pin any hopes on incoming freshman to save the day, but it's pretty important to close with both of the remaining two lb targets to increase the talent pool there too.
Just don't fucking get them hurt. -
counting on freshman is not the way to go - you never see any CFP champs relying on freshman

Freshman to freshman natty winning TD toss

I was curious about this. He appeared to be grabbing his achilles after he went down.

It's not ideal, but freshmen stand out on great teams all the time. The talent level, at least at DL, is high and there are a lot of them. We* need Danny Hammer and Tootoo. That would make 4 young but physically impressive lbs (Calvert and Tuputala) of which a couple need to play and play very well.LebamDawg said:counting on freshman is not the way to go - you never see any CFP champs relying on freshman
