Didn't you guys promote a no name coach from the NE who turned out to be much much better than brooks and bellotti?
Like what kind of insult is this supposed to be?
Moreover, this is the kind of thing you'd post if Oregon would have gone out and got Lane Kiffin or some proven commodity. Not Kirby Smart's personal bartender.
Chip Kelly had plenty of opportunities to be promoted prior to accepting the Offensive Coordinator position with Oregon.
Kelly was comfortable coaching in the NE area, primarily at New Hampshire. While at New Hampshire as a no name, he traveled and picked other coaches brains about the spread offense.
When he came to Oregon in 2007, he was prepared with his offense and for big-time college football.
See Oregon at Michigan game. Oregon, 35-7.
See Oregon run the ball down Washington’s ass at Husky Stadium.

It would have been more lopsided, but Jeremiah Johnson was out with a knee injury.
Oregon had an average defense at best.
You were a student there at the time.
Kelly as a new OC with a totally different system.
Sure. Kirby Smart’s bartender.
Big Time!
