Does anyone know the story with this kid? His film is amazing. He moves really well for his size and he drives kids into the ground. It doesn't appear that we even offered him. Did he tell huff to f-off from the get-go? Another 4* OT in our back yard that's going somewhere other than UDUB. wtf huff?

It’s not a one size fits all, but I’m not nearly as big of a fence guy as I used to be.

I do think you have to get guys like JT, Egbuka, probably Connorly. Can’t miss guys that are actually great players from the state. I don’t think Connorly is on those guys level, but him going to Oregon sucks. Smalls is a low end starte at best and that’s with a lot of improvement that I doubt will happen.

I don’t really give a shit about Wayne. Don’t really know much about the CB’s from the state, and am happy we didn’t reach on Garbari Johnson.

Coaches might like other OL more. He looks good, but so do the other OL taking OV to UW. Maybe if they commit elsewhere, they'll offer.

Or he may want to leave Washington. He's predicted to go to Oklahoma, and they just offered, so maybe it's an uphill battle the coaches know it's not worth their time or attention.

Or the coaches want him at DT but he wants to play OT.

I get the feeling some of these in-state guys are ranked super high due to which trainer they work with. It'll take a few more recruiting classes to see a trend but do far a lot of these high-ranked FSP kids haven't really made much of an impact.

The saying used to be "if he was in California, he'd be a 5 star." Now, I think it's more "if he was in California, he'd be a 3 star"
