I went to school in the 60s and early 70s. Not the little house on the Prarie
The idea that students weren't or aren't exposed to anti racism and the sins of America is laughable
As we see here a lot of my radical liberalism and criticism of America is from my youth
We had arguments about Vietnam that almost came to blows in junior high because of proximity to Ft Lewis. Kids of soldiers fighting over there didn't take kindly to the radicals
In grade school a girl got called out of class never to be seen again because her dad had been killed in action
It all leaves a mark
It's the race education on steroids that is undoing decades of work to heal
