I’ve been to the greatest art galleries and museums in the world. Including the Vatican, Florence, Paris, NYC. To be honest, at each one I wish they served cocktails every 200 feet or so. I always start with great interest. 20 min in I’m bored as hell and would rather be at a bar.
FM!! How could I forget Hieronymus Bosch‘s triptych painting of The Garden of Earthly Delights? That is some dark shit with lots of symbolism going on.

Also Washington Crossing the Delaware in person was impressive.
Botticelli is my favorite painter from the Renaissance period. His Primavera large panel rates right up there with his Venus piece.
Giotto’s frescoes at the Scrovegni Chapel in Padua are worth a pilgrimage to checkout. Amazing little chapel!!
And I always find myself drawn to Mantegna’s San Sebastian when visiting the Louvre.
