The 2nd half was very much representative of this team the whole year.

They took an 8 point lead w. 15 mins to go and freaked the absolute fk out. Instead of playing in control, they got desperate... it was turnovers galore and praying the ref was going bail them out at the rim. Oddly, Brown was the main culprit. He must have gotten blocked 5 times in the 2nd half and was throwing up over the shoulder prayers on half the possessions.

That's on Hopkins. He took 3 timeouts to the final minute of the game when he could have used them at varying points to re-focus his players, set a plan and give a tired team a break.

The game was VERY winnable and Hopkins didn't know what to do when he or his team actually had a shot at this thing.

What a fucking joke. UW is like 120 in the NET and Hop is… taking a victory lap?

Everybody doubted us, we lost in the 2nd round of the p12 tournament and didn't sniff a NCAA birth. We deserve the NIT ngafa if they look at our last 20 games.

It's coming at the end of next year:

"Well we had to move on from Mike after this season but at the end of last season it was clear he deserved one more chance."

Fuck you, Hop. The first 5 and 5 was under your watch, too.

Agree 100%! Seniors losing their minds, zero court sense, then the deer in the headlights standing on the sidelines with his arms folded.

One more year of unwatchable offense and playing 85% zone defense in an era of basketball in which everyone can shoot 3's over you. Brown scored over 30% of this teams offense. He's gone. Next year will be awful.

Pac 12 got the finals matchup they wanted. The gap in depth between them and the rest of the conference is staggering.

He has to get a ball handler and primary scorer out of the portal, the mcDonalds AA has to take a massive leap, and Mathews has to come back for next year's team to achieve the same mediocre record as this year's. And I guess Fuller has to come back.

Roberts isn't going to be what he was for 1-2 games this year so he needs to just move on. Bajama and Bey need to move on.

Bunch of teams are bringing back the core of their roster next year. What a dumpster fire of a basketball program.

UW still 4th most Pac 12 tournament titles? lol

Going with UCLA here. Kerr is out, UCLA more experience.
