I still hear about the Detroit autoworkers who killed an Asian guy back in the 80s. And of course who hasn't heard about the Sikh guy who was murdered during the anti-Muslim backlash after 9/11. CNN still talks about that case.
This incident had all the hallmarks that the press loves. Crazed bigot attacks and murders immigrant refugees proving what a racist shit-hole the country is and confirming the hate Trump has unleashed. This happened in 2018. It was a gift wrapped case that showed the violence and hate Trump's anti-immigrant bigotry was encouraging and yet for some odd reason it never got much coverage outside of Idaho. Weird, I wonder why.
