The schools that CARE will do that kind of thing without blinking. I'm tired of UW trying to play by the rules, like not getting Eason immediately eligible when he transferred (even though he ended up disappointing). Do what it takes to winDerekJohnson said:

Early moves indicate DeBoer’s no “nice guy” like Pete. He seems to have the edge to go up against Cristobal and Riley who both use scummy recruiting techniques. If you don’t like it, you’re not going to be winning too many conference championships/ big bowl games in the modern era of cfb

Im all for UW making a habit of poaching the top 3-6 guys from the MWC and Big Sky every year.
Full utilization and weaponization of the free agent transfer portal is going to be key moving forward.
There are tons of guys like Joshua Kelley (UC davis to UCLA) that were overlooked or late bloomers that can absolutely play at a high level.
Turn the smaller schools into minor league feeder schools, kick them back a few dollars via the NIL program, give them the shitty players we dont want like Asa.
