On the families who purchase EV’s

“they’ll never have to worry about gas prices again”.

Cause they’re powered by Unicorn farts, right Petey Boy?

These are the morons Joey put in charge of things that directly effect your pocketbook.

Thanks BidenBros. Ya losers.

So popular and such an obvious consumer choice that they need to ban the internal combustion engine and issue massive government credits. Scratch a leftist, find a fascist.

When one can charge it in 10 minutes and get 1,000 miles from it, fine. Until then go suck your boyfriend's dick.

But now you can go 300mi on a full charge. In CA they shut shut down to avoid wildfires. No charging. What say you Petey Boy

Provided it isn't raining and you have to use the heat and the wiper blades. Or it's hot and you don't use the A/C. Or it is flat with no hills. Or there isn't a traffic accident and you have a three hour delay.

$50 gas per week, only a 21 year payback with 0% discount rate. Where else can you get that kind of return?

I think the new Plaid does 400 miles in about 15 minutes? I thought I had heard 80% in 15 minutes and I think the long range battery is at about 500 miles now.

This is absolutely nowhere close to reality. 1. The new batteries can get up to 500 miles. 2. What goes up must come down. When I go to Tahoe and charge for free (one of the only reasons I bought my model S) while I'm skiing, I use almost no energy coming down the mountain. 3. A/C use, heater etc. have almost no effect on the main battery. 4. Sitting idle, the battery won't drain much.

I'm still not sure what "can get up to 500 miles" actually means with actual drivers not trying to set mileage records. I'd like to know what's the actual mileage with a standard driver. The only thing that I don't like about EVs are the massive tax subsidies and the "free" electricity and then toss in the renewable energy standards that will make ICEs artificially more expensive.

Oh I understand your concern and yes it's somewhat a real one with smaller batteries like mine. I drive like a maniac and probably much faster than 97% of this board so I'm a perfect example. My model S is 6 years old. I have 220,000 miles on it. When I first bought it, I could charge the battery to 290. A full charge today will get me almost 240 miles. If you drive like me and take a 100 mile drive, you'll use 150 - 160 miles. But if you drive like a responsible human should, you'll use 120-130 miles on that full charge. You only want to charge to 80/90% anyway to reduce degradation over time. Needless to say, I charge a lot but it's free to me so I'm driving this baby into the grave. In 3-4 years, I might buy a slightly used Plaid with say 30k on it and drive it the rest of my life. 200mph with a racing suspension that rivals Porche and does 0-60 in 2.8 seconds.

He's supposedly the favorite for the nomination in 2024. I don't see that happening, he comes across as wooden and not exceptional except for his sexuality. And Kamala is not going down without a fight. Either one of them vs Trump or Desantis is a disaster for the dems.

How many Congolese, Peruvians or Chinese died to make your battery?

And how many will the spent lithium eventually poison and kill?

There's no such thing as a free lunch. Governments could contain and recycle to protect people and the environment in poor countries, but if they did that, there'd be no Globalism or economies of scale to exploit. So it ain't never gonna happen.

You're right and I'm a bigot for not celebrating what makes him exceptional.

I drove a Chevy bolt for uber, loved it... when headed to Tahoe, I had to charge half way for 20 min to get over the hill since it was using more juice up hill, but yeah full charge on the way down... I love evs, but it is crap that taxes go to them... let them stand on their own... not subsidize the rich.

Not a car person but when you sit in certain type of Tesla and step on the gas, that fucking car will impress you. It stuck the back of my head to that head rest until my friend took his foot off the pedal.

I wish these nicer electric cars were cheaper, more reliable and easier to recycle, but they are not there yet. The nicer ones are only for the rich. A friend who retired early and lives here on the coast owns one and uses it to tootle around the islands, play golf, go to dinner, drive down to the courthouse and harass all those who protestors in the Arbury case about why they have never given a shit about all the black crime and murder in our area. It works for him but he still has his Lexus for his long trips to see family.

No thanks. Whos going to pay for the entire nations electrical grid rebuild to charge them? Where is this massive amount of electricity going to come from. How much will all that cost? l will never own a vehicle that has a limited range and someone else can tell me when I get to charge it.

Next up, what is a responsible human?

90% of the Green New Deal is about economic and social justice, which, for some reason, continues to make rich white people even richer.

Are you listening, Pelosi? How's that 25 million dollar Florida beach house working out?

Remarkably unconcerned about climate change, while raking in those subsidy bucks via her husbands insider trading schemes.

The new EV caddy coming out next year has a waiting list already. Beautiful car. I’ll never own it because the wife says Cadillacs are for the “olds”.
