Mark this as my official I AM DONE WITH THIS SCHOOL day. I’ve been a fan since 1970 and am officially out. I graduated in 1984 and was as into Husky sports as anyone. They’ve done, they’ve killed it for me once and for all . No more. I’ve tossed every bit if logo wear and memorabilia. I hope your happy Jen.

If that means one less game I have to watch Anthony brown play qb…a fair trade offEdwin_Bambino said:

I would argue the only Messiah QB team UW has had during my time is Tui in 2000. A team with an underrated defense to be sure; but there’s no way that team accomplishes what it does in 2000 without Tui. He was THE key to it all.Mad_Son said:
Hmmm... not sure if I agree. We were 3rd best team in the country in 2016 with a marginal at best QB. Messiah QB a la Cam Newton is the easiest path but I don't think it's the only one.RoadDawg55 said:
I can’t argue your logic but I do see a kid that is physically limited and can’t handle the heat. Maybe he will become an above average to good QB. He isn’t what we really need tho. We need a superstar QB. It’s always been the only way for us to really compete on a national level.Mad_Son said:I'll wait and see on Huard. He is obviously way out of his league now but he is playing on a shitty team,
he has received no coaching, and this is basically his first set of live reps. I think he has shown he isn't Trevor Lawrence, but I think he still has upside.
1991 and 1984 ... those are not Messiah QB teams.
And of course the greatest Messiah of them all, Jack Lockner, never authored a memorable season. -
17-29 with 4 picks and 70% of the yards coming in garbage time is fucking awful. At the very least, it’s a bad sign for his future.creepycoug said:
Yeah you can’t tell much now. Small and fucked up sample.Mad_Son said:I'll wait and see on Huard. He is obviously way out of his league now but he is playing on a shitty team,

Fuck the kids. Bunch of quitter pussies that couldn’t get their high school stars together to beat inferior dreck teams like WSU and Montana.Edwin_Bambino said:
The kids deserve to be booed, especially the ones that have been in the program doing fuckall since covid. -
This is the new largest margin of victory for the cougs if it holds... more likely they score again though....
-
Personally I'm surprised Bob's "play with joy" mantra didn't have the boys keyed in for this game

If Jimmy was still here “We we’re about 7 plays away from going undefeated and we got lots of work to do, we’re going back to work, the players are going back to work, we’re all going back to work.”
