Petersen and the coaching search

While no one has been announced yet I still want to address how big of a failure it would be if this hire turns out to be underwhelming. We all know the resources that UW has and that alone should make this an attractive job that can be sold to high-caliber coach. The other thing that in theory we have is Petersen as a spokesperson for our program. Petersen is one of a hand full of coaches over the last decade or two who have a "brand" and who have both won on the field and have the respect of the industry as more than just a football coach.

The idea that Jen, along with Petersen, would not be able to sell UW and bring in a quality coach is utterly insane. No other school is going through their coaching search with as asset like Petersen in their back pocket. It's a HUGE advantage that, if squandered, would be one of the biggest failures of an athletic department that I can think of.
