Mother drove him across state lines with an illegal weapon that he wasn't legally able to possess. He provoked the people who attacked him with the intent of shooting people that night. He wasn't asked to protect the car lot by anyone. He was a militia member and proven racist who would never have agreed to protect that car lot because it was owned by two POC and racists don't care what happens to POC. It only got worse from there.
