Greatest anti-poverty program out there is getting married before you have children. The number of kids living in poverty who are living in an intact two parent household is tiny. You don’t give a fuck about poor people, you care about supporting things that make you feel better about yourself not about trying to improve the lives of low income American citizens.
If you really wanted to help poor people you’d be encouraging people to get married before they had kids, instead of blaming whitey when people have kid out of wedlock. -
