Because they blame white racism for everything - all the time. If you didn't want this revival of 1970s grievance politics, you shouldn't have given white racists a mainstream toehold in the GOP. The fact that shrill Democrats overstate the case doesn't mean that cozying up to white supremacists was a good idea.

Could you identify for me the Republican President your team hasn't called a racist since Ike Dazzler? And of course you dodged the question. Why have I never heard you criticize these "shrill" Rats Dazzler?
