The script. Book it. Morris will go something like 19-35, his best game so far, with 2 TDs and only 1 pick (even though AZ will drop 2 catchable ones.)
AZ QB will turn the ball over 4 times setting up short fields for the UW offense which will respond with 3 made FGs and one missed.
Score at half is UW 13-3 and the final score will end up 30-13.
Jimmy will take a victory lap at his presser and remind everyone that Morris is only a Soph. He's starting to trust his reads more, and he and Jon Don are getting on the same page. The bye week really helped out and you could really see the growth against UCLA. Remember Covid last year really hurt his development and growth. And remember, we are only 3 plays away from going to consecutive Rose Bowls.
Jen announces a raise and extension for the whole staff to deal with the outside noise and uncertainty. It was really tough on the kids.
Stanford then holds UW to 113 total yards next week in front of 68 fans who are there to see Tiger Woods jersey retired at half time. and wins 13-3.
Lake points out that it was only 2 plays that beat them and the kids fought hard and were in it until the end. Just had a few bad breaks. But as coaches they have to do better preparing for Oregon. They will do better.
And, Alexis jumps off a building. -
