They don't hate them so much as they don't really see them as their equals. They see them more as their pets who they think they need to protect and care for and who aren't really fully functioning and reasoning adults like they are. The dazzler knows that they can get ID. What he also knows is that if the dems claim that voter ID is racist is that this gives them a foot in the door to claim that anyone wanting voter ID is Jim Crow on steroids and then it becomes a voting issue for blacks - or so they think.
