I can't remember the last time a single play made me that excited... maybe the TD to go up 7-0 against Bama in 2016.
That TD is the emotional high point of my Husky fandom. I thought for a spilt second that we could give Bama a war. Man, it felt great.
My all-time emotional high point for Husky Football was the Jay Berry 80-yard run at Nebraska.
Mario's diving TD catch in the 92 Rose Bowl and Heisman pose afterwards for me... Put us up 34-7 and the celebration began... it felt like there was no way we'd be denied at least a shared national championship at that point.
I was just a kid, watched that Nebraska game with a room full of Husker fans who didn't think UW had a chance in hell and acted like it; NOT #nebraskaclassy. One of my most satisfying moments as a Husky fan. I miss WASHINGTON, damnit.
