If you’re in a high profile job as a youth mentor making $2 million/year while living in a low cost of living area, hire a dedicated driver.

    You're no fun.

It's Spokane, FFS. The most exciting thing you can do there is get arrested.
Even worse it was cda... so the cops have zero to so but pull you over
Actually, my CDA buddies say the Idaho SP guys are serious dicks and you want to avoid them at all costs.

Just repeating what I've been told.
I guess Idaho SP have replaced WSP as the serious dicks.

Got stopped a lot by WSP and OSP back in the day. Lots of questions. NEVER got a ticket. Guess I was profiled with long hair and driving a VW Bug.

Reason for stops - 1-2 miles over speed limit. Stern lecture each time.

They ran his plates first….then pulled him over

So they pulled him over because of who he was?

    Doubtful.

    Link?

Plates are publicly displayed and can be run anytime for any or no reason. Maybe you've heard of license plate scanners? They have them mounted everywhere. Literally millions of them out there. People steal registration tags and plates quite regularly not to mention cars. FYI driving is considered a privilege not a right. That's why you are required to submit to a blood test if suspected of DUI.

FYI in Kali there were more than 3,000 vehicle codes in the book and most states are similar. I can find one to stop you for with ease.
Don’t know the number of vehicle code violations Oregon has . . . It used to be a good sized book.

Yup, you are very good at finding a way to fuck people over.... sorry making up shit to pull people over is BS... I have been pulled over 6 times in 4 month here in CDA... all because they were hopeful I was drunk. I wasn't so they let me go but still wasted 20 to 30 min of my life and cost me money. Just because you have the right to use one of your 3000 codes doesn't mean you should.... tired of being harrased because you want to generate revenue. And having said that you still shouldn't drink and hope to get away with it. But a cop should follow you and a good one can tell if you are drunk or not without using those BS codes.

    Well aware . . .

Sometimes have to come up with one after you get pulled over. Very easy.

No mud flaps on truck . . .

    Warning . . .

Started checking out trucks in the area. At least 50% don’t have mud flaps.
Craziest one I heard was snow on the license plate.. pure BS

I never pulled people over without probable cause. Never. But I can count the times I didn't have PC on one maybe two fingers. No PC no stop who knows maybe it was the Green River killer I let go on his way but that's how the game is played. Because I made sure to be knowledgeable means I cared about my integrity, not the other way around. I don't lie in court either because I never came close to needing to to so. I could also write good reports with all the necessary elements and that kept me from a lot of testimony and earned mostly guilty pleas even on serious charges.

If I ever harassed someone they'd know it but it was fucking legal!

It may be to the letter of the law, but that is because we have too many laws, but it definitely isn't to the spirit.. I respect police in the big cities that have to do real police work and there I only got pulled over once in 4 years doing uber.... here in cda 6 times in 4 months... all for crap. I even went off on one cop as I was pulled over for the 6th time... turns out I had a light out. So it was the only legit one... so tired of getting pulled over just to see if I was drunk...

You have to be one of the worst, most obnoxious, drivers on the planet to get pulled over that often by Cd'A PD.

True. I have bidness associates in CDA/PF and they must have some kind of financial arrangement with the CDA PD because those fuckers go hard and then jump in their cars and speed home. Not saying that's right, just saying they don't fuck with the rich locals.

The odds of getting pulled over by the Kootenai County Sheriff Dept is 100X greater on the lake than driving around town. The Throbber is deathly afraid of driving his boat after a few beers. Just won't do it.
