They ended up doing exactly that with Javale fucking McGee replacing Love. Dumb comment. Love does suck tho and ideally would be nowhere near a US basketball team that is supposed to consist of top NBA talent.

The more comical and idiotic part about Rose's comment is that the US had already sent two or three ALL BLACK teams to the Olympics. Black sports reporters such as Rob Parker and Chris Broussard pointed this out.
