    The debacle was agreed to by Daddy and the withdrawal had already largely occurred by the time Biden took office. Biden had no stomach for telling the American people he was going to reverse the withdrawal because he and Daddy sought the exact same result here: Americans out of Afghanistan. I don't entirely blame Biden. Americans have no stomach for staying and it could have derailed his Presidency. Gawd knows you girls wouldn't be supporting his decision to send troops back in.

    Neither Daddy or Joe gives a shit about the fact that we were virtually certain at all times, before and after the deal was made, that Afghanistan would fall. That it would fall almost instantaneously is the only surprise here.

    I know you only care who this falls on politically. Any honest examination shows this to be a bipartisan failure.

    As I had to point out to you yesterday, Daddy had reduced our numbers to 2,500 by the time he left to pout in Florida. Neither he nor Biden have held the Taliban to anything. The Taliban noticed.
    So Trump adjusted the amount of troops in Afghanistan to an acceptable amount to maintain stability.
    Less than 1/3 of what was needed according to the brass.
