Ok why is everyone negative on him now? I found it a little annoying how much everyone was slobbering over him when he played here so where's all this change of heart from

Truth is that he was a really underrated piece of our conference championship.
Played like absolute shit at the start of 2019 against Cal.
Don't remember him much against Stanford and Oregon (probably says a lot) was God against 2% but we lost so who cares.

We were slobbering over his potential. Right when that potential was starting to show...he sat out and left.
Nine career sacks, zero of which were against USC, Stanford, or Oregon. Has any ncaa team ever gotten less run out of a first round pick?
(of course we are so cursed we might get even less out of ZTF.)

Tried to seriously answer your question, Robert Nkemdiche was the only one that really stood out. He only had 6 sacks & 16 tfl in three full seasons, lol. But he was only drafted that high (and is still being employed by the Seahawks) because he was the #1 recruit in the country.
Also the Penn State guy drafted right before Tryon was pretty similar to him.

Quick, what's your favorite Joe Tryon memory?
Rather easily.
I like this one too ~ he actually had to stop and change direction to get out of the way of the running back and the lead blocker as well...

Dominated little Land Granty + Truck State
Good development I guess, but meh.
