The next year with his own recruits they're opting out left and right and he's losing to Cal, Beavlet, and squeaking by UCLA's backup qb.
Not like a sun devil would understand either though.
Most would rather shit broken glass than give a competitor credit. Wilner wrote about this in 2019 and said the other coaches didn’t like Mario’s chest meat hanging around the recruiting trail.

Number of first team All Pac-12 selections for the champion of the conference of champions, special teams not included. I didn’t find AP all conference teams prior to 2015 on one googling.

Small sample size. It does show that Pac-12 coaches didn’t like Oregon before and certainly don’t now.
The opt outs were Graham, Holland, Breeze, and Sewell. One of those players was recruited by Cristobal.
I am sure last year was the “correct” trend.
