I don’t see that as being that likelyntxduck said:
3. Texas/ou leaked this to get more revenue % from the big 12/other concessionsTequilla said:Two options here:
1) Texas/OU know they can’t survive with the status quo and are trying to put public pressure to the SEC
2) Texas/Oklahoma to the SEC is in the works and Aggie is trying to publicly sabotage
SEC tends to get shit done and I’ve heard some stuff tonight that suggests 2) is the better bet right now -

Texas goes to the SEC and Leach can pencil in at least one win each season.

If Texas and OU join the SEC they will have even greater pull for pac-12 prospects. Add that to tOSU and Alabama...
SEC branding plus immense social media followings in the South will pull every marketable player to the SEC in the NIL era.
Next you'll see USC, Oregon, and UW trying to get into the Big, it's an arms race. -
Not to worry, Jimmy stopped taking kids that are good enough to play in the SEC so this shouldn't be an issue for us.Kingdome_Urinals said:If Texas and OU join the SEC they will have even greater pull for pac-12 prospects. Add that to tOSU and Alabama...

So Texas gets to be the 13th best team in the SEC, and Oklahoma settles for 5th. That's a bold strategy!
Alabama
Georgia/LSU
Florida/Auburn/Texas A&M/Oklahoma
Ole Miss/Kentucky/South Carolina/Miss St.
Tennessee/Missouri/Texas
Arkansas
Vanderbilt -
As a UGA doog I think you have them both a line too low but I lol'ed.greenblood said:So Texas gets to be the 13th best team in the SEC, and Oklahoma settles for 5th. That's a bold strategy!

Texas yeah I can see that. Oklahoma? You put them head to head on a neutral field against Florida, Auburn, and Texas A&M, and I don't think they sweep them. They do have recent bowl wins against Auburn and Florida, but I still see them pretty equal to those teams. I think in most years, LSU and Georgia knocks them the hell out.dnc said:

At least for the first couple years, I would love to see how Oklahoma and Texas handle the SEC schedule
at Kentucky
Texas A&M
at Auburn
South Carolina
vs
at Kansas St
West Virginia
at Texas Tech

Alabama and Clemson are on a level lately but after that OK could claim 3rd best team in the nation
