It was big to beat Texas. And to win 10 games again for the first time since 1960. The 77 Rose Bowl champs did not until forfeits were counted

Texas entered that game ranked #6. In the eyes of the Huskies, they were very dismissive of the Huskies in the events leading up to the game.

The Feather defense was an early demise of the triple option. No historical credit ever given.

2016 defense got Jalen Hurts benched the next year in my opinion. No historical credit will ever be given.
