Spent a June day in Oklahoma City years ago where it was 100 degrees and close to 100% RH, the equivalent of 136 degrees F.MikeDamone said:

Walking from the air conditioned hotel (and pool) to my air conditioned car for less than 5 minutes was an education on the heat index.

Worked a couple summers in Tulsa
No AC in the car either -
I shot the nationals in Dallas years ago. 99 degrees and 99% humidity. Miserable! Any time we had a gap in stage times we would drive to the movie theater!

I grew up in Berdoo without AC in house or in cars in the old days.
That’s hot, but not SEC level hot.
I can’t fathom working outside (in OK) in that kind of heat no matter how early you started.
What kind of work did you do in Tulsa those summers? -
Dug pools and was also a garbage man

“Dug pools . . .”
Holi fuk! -
And now you know why they gave it top the Indians. I spent many res summers in Oklahomo. It's fucking miserable. Your ball sweat is sweating.trublue said:
