By the way, the woman reporting that is a New York assemblyman -- whoops, I mean "assemblyperson" -- and supports closing the prisons and defunding the police.

    Maybe in Texas, but in NYC, you take down the black guy and you get charged with assault and hauled off to jail. Technically, the lady is down and no further action toward her is being taken so self-defense of another is off the table with a Soros prosecutor.     I agree. They voted for it. They own it. But then you have the guy who's Jack Russell Terrier in Seattle the other day got kicked to death by a homeless guy in Seattle (who's already out on no bail) and that's when it gets shitty. The dog didn't get to vote for it.

    Yeah, but the Suburban Mom's bichon' votes would carry the day for the dementia patient. Although our neighborhood has two guessing 40ish female runners (wood not) and they run with very large and extremely well-trained German Shepards. They both look like this guy. Both would be very spendy dogs.

    Generally a citizens/private persons arrest can be made. Any forces necessary to overcome resistance is allowed. Not many willing to do it is the problem.
