Seemed like the plan last time around was to turn the other cheek because the media would use the violent reactions to paint the Right as dangerous. So the left were allowed to do bullshit like this with impunity and the right were still painted as dangerous.
Good to see after an actual assassination attempt, the right may finally be ready to actually show that, yes, they can be dangerous.
