The Make Inflation Greater Act is a DEI wish list. All programs are designed for Equity and entail massive amounts of documentation to get the grants. The EV charger program demands a priority for disadvantaged neighborhoods. Like east Portland is just stuffed with single parent households that own Teslas. If you target neighborhoods which actually have EVs, you fail. That's why the CHIPS act isn't getting much new fabrication plants built because if you hire qualified workers and are leaving out poorly educated fentanyl and meth addicts then you fail the Equity test.
